The MS-20 Series Pyrgeometer is a high-quality longwave infrared radiation measurement system designed for meteorological, agricultural, environmental and research monitoring. Covering the 4.5–42 μm wavelength range, the series measures atmospheric longwave radiation using a specially coated silicon window that rejects shorter-wave solar radiation. The family includes the smart digital MS-20SH Pyrgeometer, featuring Modbus and SDI-12 communication, integrated window heating and internal diagnostics, together with the analogue MS-20T and MS-20P Pyrgeometers, providing precision millivolt output with thermistor or PT-100 detector-temperature sensing. All models are designed for continuous outdoor measurements and receive WISG-traceable calibration.
Key Features
- 4.5–42 μm longwave radiation measurement
- Less than 18 second 95% response time
- Less than 10 W/m² window-heating offset
- Less than 5 W/m² zero offset B
- Less than 4% temperature response
- 150° field of view
- -40°C to +80°C operating range
- Special solar-blocking silicon window
- WISG-traceable calibration
- Smart digital and analogue configurations
- Modbus 485 RTU on MS-20SH
- SDI-12 output on MS-20SH
- Integrated heating on MS-20SH
- Thermistor detector sensing on MS-20T
- PT-100 Class A detector sensing on MS-20P
