The WISER I Spectroradiometer is a research-grade outdoor solar spectral irradiance measurement system combining the MS-711N and MS-712 spectroradiometers to provide continuous UV–Visible–NIR measurements from 300 to 1700 nm. The temperature-controlled detector systems, NIST-traceable calibration and rugged all-weather construction provide high stability and long-term reliability for demanding photovoltaic research, meteorological monitoring, plant science and material analysis. WISER I can be operated at fixed monitoring stations or used as a travelling spectral reference and is compatible with the STR-32G Sun Tracker for direct spectral irradiance measurements.

Key Features

  • 300–1700 nm broadband spectral measurement
  • MS-711N UV–Visible–NIR spectroradiometer
  • MS-712 NIR spectroradiometer
  • Temperature-controlled detector systems
  • All-weather outdoor construction
  • NIST-traceable calibration
  • Calibration uncertainty budget
  • Excellent long-term stability
  • 180° field of view
  • Separate sensor power supplies
  • RS-422 / RS-232 communication
  • Nami spectral measurement and analysis software support
  • WSDAc data analysis support
  • Compatible with STR-32G Sun Tracker
  • Suitable for fixed installations and travelling reference measurements

The MS-711N and MS-712 measurement ranges overlap between 900 and 1100 nm, providing a common spectral region when combining the two sensor datasets into one continuous 300–1700 nm solar spectrum.
