The WISER II Spectroradiometer is a broadband UV–Visible–NIR solar spectral measurement system combining the MS-711N and MS-713 spectroradiometers to measure solar spectral irradiance from 300 to 2500 nm. Designed for advanced outdoor solar research, the temperature-controlled spectrometers provide excellent stability and long-term reliability, while NIST-traceable calibration and calibration uncertainty documentation support high-quality scientific measurements. By extending spectral coverage deep into the near-infrared region, WISER II is particularly suited to photovoltaic and CPV research, solar resource assessment, ground validation of satellite spectral data and environmental spectral studies.
Key Features
- 300–2500 nm broadband spectral measurement
- MS-711N UV–Visible–NIR spectroradiometer
- MS-713 extended-NIR spectroradiometer
- Approximately 98% solar-terrestrial spectrum coverage
- Temperature-controlled detector systems
- All-weather outdoor measurement capability
- NIST-traceable calibration
- Calibration uncertainty budget
- Excellent long-term stability
- 180° field of view
- RS-422 / RS-232 sensor communication
- 10 m standard cable
- 20 m and 30 m cable options
- Compatible with EKO STR-Series Sun Trackers
- Designed for high-level solar and spectral research
WISER II extends measurement to 2500 nm and covers approximately 98% of the integrated solar-terrestrial spectrum, making it especially valuable when PV response, atmospheric absorption or satellite-validation work requires spectral information well beyond the 1700 nm limit of WISER I.
