- Meteorological and aeronautical information
- Ballistic testing applications
- Ozone and extended atmospheric measurements
The M10 Radiosonde is an upper-air observation instrument designed for radiosounding applications in operational meteorology, research and other atmospheric measurement programmes. With a compact 95 × 95 × 88.5 mm enclosure and a weight of 150 g including alkaline batteries, the M10 combines low-energy electronics with a battery capacity supporting up to four hours of sounding. Pressure is calculated from GNSS data, while compatibility with automatic sounding systems and auxiliary sensors allows the instrument to support both routine and extended upper-air observation requirements. RTPL offers the M10 for applications requiring established radiosonde technology with flexible integration options.
Key Features
- Compact 95 × 95 × 88.5 mm construction
- 150 g weight including alkaline batteries
- Single electronic board with low-energy design
- Flexible radio antenna
- Battery life supporting up to 4 hours of sounding
- Pressure calculated from GNSS
- Full compatibility with Robotsonde automatic sounding systems
- Three spare analog channels for additional sensors such as Ozonesonde, LOAC or XDATA
The M10 supports both manual and automatic upper-air sounding workflows and is fully compatible with the Robotsonde automatic radiosonde system. Three spare analog channels allow compatible additional instrumentation such as Ozonesonde, LOAC or XDATA to be integrated for extended atmospheric measurements. GNSS-derived pressure measurement and resistance to GNSS spoofing support its use in demanding upper-air observation environments.
